The developers of Riders of Icarus have announced the impending termination of the SEA region/Torkai server, affecting both VFUN and Steam platforms. This decision marks a significant transition for the SEA community, with official news of the closure shared on June 13, 2024. The move aligns with ongoing efforts to consolidate the player base and provide enhanced support for North American and European servers.
To assist players in adjusting to this change, a transition campaign will commence on June 26, 2024. This campaign aims to facilitate a smooth migration from the SEA servers to NA and EU servers. As part of this process, former SEA players will receive various support measures, including server and chat buffs and coupon packages. These initiatives are designed to help players adapt to their new environments and maintain their progress within the game.
Further steps in this transition include the permanent closure of the Ellora Shop on August 14, 2024, and the final shutdown of the SEA server on September 11, 2024. Players are advised to use any remaining in-game currencies and conclude their activities before these dates.
