I know 1 of the main question you have is when is this game gonna be released, 1st its already released in Taiwan, its very easy to play and understand bruh, the cutscenes is on English, there's subtitles and some UI is in English but I can say that the majority is still in Chinese, so you have to just wing most of it. for the global release, according to the developers its 2022, no exact date and if I manage to catch the exact release date, its gonna be in the comments and description of the video. Now The Developer is Portkey Games which is a joint venture between warner bros and net ease. warner bros is an American company and net east is a Chinese company. Portkey Games according to their website have been working on harry potter games namely Harry potter puzzles and spells, harry potter wizards unite, harry potter mystery and the much anticipated harry potter legacy, which unlike magic awakened, harry potter legacy will be out on Nintendo switch, ps4, ps5, xbox 1, xbox series and windows on February 10, 2023.

Now Platforms, Harry Potter Magic awakened is going to be available on Android, iOS and PC, I know when you go on the global English harry potter magic awakened website, it says there that its only for android and will be available on iOS in the future but if you go to the Taiwanese website of the game, you can see there that there's a pc download and i can confirm that its working, we can play harry potter magic awakened on pc today, there's hardly any difference from the pc and mobile version aside you can move with WASD and rotate the camera with the mouse on pc.

Harry Potter: Magic Awakened Taiwan is crossplay between pc and mobile, you can play with 1 account, same character on pc and mobile, If you signed up with Line or Facebook. There are different ways to sign up to game but if you don't choose Facebook or line, it will not be crossplay.

FEATURES AND MY EXPERIENCE PLAYING THE GAME

At the beginning where greeted with this introduction screen over here which shows how the graphics is gonna be in the game, Its not that impressive in terms of graphics but its sure is a very interesting artstyle, and in my opinion its perfect for the world of harry potter, I like how the world is crafted here except the horrendous UI. Now after Starting the game, there will be a story and the story is a big part of the experience playing the game as you will have to accomplish goals to unlock the next story part which will progress you through out the game.

And after seeing the cutscenes which are voiced, The character creation will start and its very basic, we can change the gender, hairstyles, some clothing and accessories but don't worry there will be a lot of cosmetic in the game like skins for clothes, your wand, hat even your room in the game got a lot of customization

 

As for the general gameplay, after creating your character and doing the early parts of the game, your goal is to max this box over here and you do that by doing different task, depends on you, and 1 of the task is combat or duels, there is 1 v 1 and 2 v 2, your gonna que up and duel other players.

Now the combat is like this, the fight starts with you and the enemy, both on the ends of the battle field and the goal is to lower the hp of the enemy and you can do that by using cards, some cards are monster summons and some cards are spell, there is support cards and attack cards. Now if you yourself get attacked, it will be telegraphed and of course you have to dodge it by moving away from the area of attack which makes the game much more engaging, its much more action oriented unlike other card games.

The other task that you can do is a rhythm game, it is what it is, you tap the circles at the right time when it appears and you will be ranked based on your timing.

There is also simple exploration in the form of this explore the forest, which is basically a tiny map that allows you to move around and choose what path would you take, there is a few segments and it will eventually lead you to fight a boss, which usually a fantastic beast, or cloaked guy from some reason.

Another task is protect a structure, its very basic, don't let enemies destroy the structure and you succeed.

And the last task is the thing that I'm most excited about and its the quidditch and unfortunately, its not what I expected, where we get to ride brooms and play like soccer right? No, that's not it. Quidditch in harry potter magic awakened is kind of like an end less runner like subway surfer, where our character will just run or move forward and we get to move our character left to right to avoid obstacles but in this there's an end and the end is the rings where you will have to tap and shoot the ball in, that's it quidditch.

Ragnarok Arena Gameplay, Features, Classes and Monetization

Ragnarok Arena is a mobile strategy rpg based on the famous ragnarok online IP. Its developed by gravity, the Korean company that owns ragnarok online. There is no exact release date as of the making of the video, Its announced that it will be out by the end of the year Q4 2022 but its already released in Korea, that's why what your seeing is in Korean. I managed to wing the whole gameplay since the UI and gameplay is very easy to comprehend.

FEATURES 

Character Creation is super simple, you pick a gender, name you character that's it.

Gameplay is viewed top down and you get to set up the positions of you character, putting the tanks at the front and range dps and support at the back, its your typical Auto battler, strategy rpg that's kind of similar to auto chess but more basic without in game customization and management. I combat you pretty much watch everything play out except for the time when your super attack is full and you get to active your characters special attack.

CLASSES

We have classes in this game that has their own unique stats, capabilities and special attacks

lets take a look at swordsman, as you see, its the tanker melee dps that can use bash, fatal blow and its super attack is dragon breath.

Mage, its the magic dps that can use cold bolt, fireball, thunderstorm and its special attack is crimson rock.

Acolyte, its the healer support that can use cure, slow enemies, accelerate teamates and the special is a heal.

Merchant, based on the gameplay is a melee dps that can use a variety of area attacks and can buff itself, the special attack is cart tornado.

Thief, another melee dps somewhat similar to the merchant and swordsman and the skills are double attack, sand attack, dodge and the super is cross impact.

Archer, range dps, high attack stat but low defense, he can use double strafe, arrow repel to push enemies and the super is arrow storm.

Those are the classes and keep in mind that all of those classes can advance to another class or job which will significantly improve their capabilities

The Overall Gameplay

We start out with a UI where we select a campaign where we need to defeat a batch of enemies each level and at the end there gonna be a boss fight and based on my experience, its not that easy, you will still need to customize level up you character and get new monsters or companion.

And this where we talk about the monetization, even though its in Korean, its very easy to determine with this simple shop that you can buy the in game currency in the cash shop using the cash shop currency, I'm pretty sure you wanted to know that but the main monetization is the gacha for the monsters, they are giving away a handful of dead branches which is the item needed to summon for free.
