The development team of Ragnarok Online 3 has confirmed that its first Pioneer Test will commence on August 12. This initial testing phase will have a limited scope, providing access to seven third jobs, the Guild League, and the 10-player dungeon “Divine Realm.” Additional features such as large-scale guild wars, 5-player dungeons, and vending systems remain in development and will be introduced in later phases. According to the announcement, the focus for this phase has been on refining core systems rather than implementing the full range of planned features.
Server access during the test will be restricted, with limited player capacity, regional availability, and timed sessions. The development team stated that these measures aim to maintain a stable environment during the testing process. Friend Codes for participation will be distributed weekly through official Facebook, Discord, and JoyMaker channels, as well as through ranking rewards for in-game events. These measures are intended to gradually expand player access while monitoring performance and stability.
No release date for the full game has been confirmed at this time. The developers indicated they are continuing work on improving gameplay systems, performance, and balance before moving toward launch. Player feedback from the Pioneer Test will be used to inform further development, and the team expressed an intention to address concerns regarding monetization, automated gameplay, and class balance raised by the community since the release of the game’s earlier demo.
