The developers of Closers have released a new developer letter outlining several updates planned for 2025. One of the key updates is Break Challenge Season 2, which is scheduled to launch on April 2. This season introduces adjustments by separating farming and challenge content to reduce fatigue while also refining the Trigger system. The probability of obtaining Triggers with specific options has been increased, and new hybrid character support options have been added. Additional customization features, such as new name tags, visual frames, and effect customization, will also be available.
Several system improvements are also planned. The Option System is being restructured to improve usability by integrating it into the Post-Processing System and reorganizing options into clearer categories. The Black Market is receiving adjustments, including an expansion of the price limit range from 50% to 70% of the average price and reduced access restrictions for new characters. A new Memorial Quest featuring Luna will be introduced on April 16, providing additional character backstory and new costumes. The Party Info UI is being updated to improve clarity, and the Pet Stamina system is being removed to allow pets to be used without limitations.
Further changes include an adjustment to Combat Power calculations, which will no longer factor in Skill Cooldown stats in towns to prevent inconsistencies. The Mutant Manifestation Body Manipulation system is also being revised with the addition of an Auto Manipulation function and a new point system. These updates are expected to be implemented throughout April, with the developers continuing to refine the game’s systems and mechanics in future updates.
