Smilegate RPG recently held a preview broadcast to present new information about Lost Ark Mobile. The game will feature a story that takes a different direction compared to the original Lost Ark while keeping some familiar elements. Players can expect reworked classes adapted for mobile devices and solo-friendly content, including new versions of Legion Raids, Abyss Dungeons, and Chaos Break, which are designed to fit shorter play sessions.
The developer explained that controls and game features have been adjusted for mobile accessibility. Some gameplay, such as raids, will allow players to use auto-combat, while more complex encounters will require manual input. The party system will also introduce a mercenary feature for easier party formation. AI characters will be present in the game to assist players and provide in-game guidance as they progress.
Smilegate RPG confirmed plans to hold a closed beta test in October to evaluate gameplay balance and server performance. Further updates on the game’s launch will be announced after this testing phase concludes.
