The First Descendant has received Update 1.0.5, bringing several significant additions and adjustments. This update introduces Ultimate Valby, a new character with unique modification modules. The Spiral Tidal Wave module now fires a straight-line projectile that can be used three times in succession and attracts impurities during the Gluttony Intercept Battle. The Hydro Pressure Bomb module enables a forward leap that deals increased damage based on the number of enemies in the Laundry state.
Another key addition is the new Descendant, Luna, who brings a set of distinct skills. Luna's abilities include Improvisation, which boosts her Inspiration Gauge to enhance her other skills. Her active skills—Stage Presence, Passionate Stage, Relaxing Act, and Delightful Stage—offer various effects, such as changing her weapon, increasing skill power, recovering MP, and reducing skill cooldowns for allies. Luna also comes with modification modules like Nimble Footsteps and Noise Surge, which enhance her movement speed and transform her skills into combat abilities, respectively.
The update also introduces a new Hard Void Intercept Battle named Gluttony, where players can obtain the Hungry Sonic External Components Set and the Ultimate Weapon Peace Maker blueprint. The Peace Maker provides the "Single Reload for Peace" effect, allowing a quick burst shot when fully stacked. Additionally, a new module called Arche Concretion has been added, which decreases certain attributes with each skill use but increases defense and MP. These updates are aimed at expanding gameplay options and providing new challenges for players.
