PSO2 New Genesis is set to introduce the Mars Action System on July 31st, bringing a new armament designed for enhanced battle capabilities. This update will allow players to activate the Mars armament during combat, which includes both primary attacking and supportive sub-armaments. Players must complete the main task to access Mars, which can be customized and upgraded through Mars skill points. Limited-time tasks associated with Mars will offer rewards and skill points.
In addition to the Mars Action System, the update will feature a new quest called Mars Training Center. This quest will enable players to practice Mars actions without time constraints or rewards. The update will also include the Arks Records field race event, new rank challenges in Aelio combat sectors with increased difficulty, and the Crimson Realm, which will rotate through sectors with enhanced enemies and rewards.
Looking ahead to August, a grand series of ruins battles will be introduced, supporting up to 16 players with new limited-time tasks and summer-themed AC scratch ticket items. A new district for exploration, featuring large boss enemies and additional Mars battery chargers, will also be added. The update will introduce the 11-star Rarity Excelo weapon series and raise the material item selection limit for equipment enhancement to 10.
