Guild Wars 2 has outlined its schedule of updates and events for the upcoming months, covering the period from May to July 2024. The planned changes include new story content, additional gameplay features, and seasonal events. These updates aim to provide ongoing engagement for players and ensure a variety of in-game activities.
In May, the game will receive several significant updates. On the 21st, the final story chapters of the "Secrets of the Obscure" expansion will be released. Players will also gain access to a new playable area, Inner Nayos. Additionally, The Lonely Tower fractal dungeon will be introduced, along with Tier 2 of the Obsidian legendary armor. Other updates include a new Convergences Boss and Challenge Mode, as well as enhancements to the Wizard’s Vault rewards and challenges.
June and July will also bring notable updates and events. In June, the Dragon Bash Festival will start on the 4th, followed by the challenge mode for The Lonely Tower fractal dungeon. The 24/7/365 World Restructuring beta begins on the 14th, and the month concludes with a Skills and Balance Update and Ranked PvP Rewards Update on the 25th. July will feature a PvP Quality of Life Update and a World vs. World Quality of Life Update on the 16th, with the Festival of the Four Winds commencing on the 30th. These updates and events will provide a range of activities for players over the coming months.
