MMO News Mayhem: June's Unveilings, Setbacks, and Farewells

Welcome to the June 17 MMO News! This month's update brings exciting news, including the long-awaited release of Blue Protocol in Japan, although it has faced setbacks such as delays, login complications, and maintenance issues. We're eagerly awaiting its English release in 2024. In other news, Lost Ark introduces the new continent of Elgacia, offering a captivating cinematic storyline and an exhilarating Abyssal Dungeon. Palia, the highly anticipated MMO by Singularity6, is conducting its largest concurrency test, inviting over 200,000 players to evaluate the game's performance. Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis receives a 2.0 update with enhancements to user-generated content and a new Creative Space feature. Unfortunately, Swords of Legends Online will be shutting down on June 30th due to intense competition and insufficient player numbers. Lastly, Diablo 4, an action RPG with MMO elements, faces mixed reviews with a user score of around 5 on Metacritic.
