Arcadia Saga was a Japanese MMORPG that was released in 2009. The game was developed by Headlock, a Japanese game developer known for their work on various video games such as Radiant Historia and the 2005 MMORPG Emil Chronicle Online. Arcadia Saga offered players a chance to explore a fantasy world filled with monsters, treasure, and adventure. With a variety of classes to choose from and character customization options, players could create their own unique hero and embark on quests, participate in PvP battles, and team up with friends to take down epic bosses. One of the game's main features was the housing system, where players could own a house in Arcadia Saga and customize it with crafting elements, creating their personal space in the game world. Additionally, players could engage in PK (Player Killing) anywhere in the game world, making it different from many other online games.
Although the service for Arcadia Saga ended in 2012, it was later revived in 2013 by the Roal Corporation under the name Lost Arcadia. The game resumed with a system that could be operated on a low budget, allowing it to continue for a few more years. However, as of November 2016, players could no longer log in or connect to the official website, indicating that the service had been terminated around May 2016. Even though the game is no longer officially available, it left a mark on the MMORPG genre, and players who experienced the game can still look back on their adventures in the fantasy world of Arcadia Saga.
