What is Wuthering Waves
Wuthering Waves is an upcoming open-world action RPG being developed by Kuro Games. The game is set 100 years after a mysterious calamity that nearly wiped out humanity and left the world filled with unknown beings and monsters. However, humanity has found a way to adapt and survive alongside these creatures, slowly rebuilding civilization.
In Wuthering Waves, players take on the role of a Rover, waking up in this new world and exploring the vast and expansive game world filled with novel sights and newfangled tech. The game promises a high degree of freedom, allowing players to explore, meet new characters, encounter bosses and enemies, and chain together combos by fast swapping between their multiple party members.
The game features action-packed combat, similar to Kuro Games' previous work, Punishing Gray Raven, with players able to choose from a variety of weapons and skills to take on their foes. The game also promises a rich storyline, with players uncovering the secrets of this new world and the calamity that changed everything.
Currently, Wuthering Waves is in development and a closed beta test is scheduled to take place soon. Interested players can pre-register for the game on its official website to receive updates and be notified when the beta test is available.
